We understand how easy it is to forget a password. Sometimes phones get lost!
However, your PIN and Private Key is not recoverable because we do NOT store PINs and Private Keys for the sake of protecting your privacy.
If you lose access to your Private Key and PIN, the best course of action would be to delete your account and create a new one. All existing data in your previous Vault will be deleted. If you need help deleting your account, check out this article here.
This can often happen when you create a new iCloud account and get a new device.
To avoid this happening, we suggest a few best practices for your Recovery Kit screenshot:
- Save the information in a digital note that you can access.
- Write it down on paper somewhere!
